Welcoming Edgar to the Team
Starting in April, I’ll be joined by a very special new team member: Edgar!
Edgar is my bright, thoughtful 16-year-old son, currently in 10th grade. Over the past several years, I’ve been training him, and he’s proven to be a natural. Edgar has a deep love for cats and a real gift with animals—many seem to trust him instinctively. He’s not yet certified, so he’ll be joining me as an assistant and apprentice. With the client’s permission, he will come to consultations and participate in Zoom meetings when he’s not in school.
What makes Edgar stand out is not just his compassion, but his curiosity and scientific mind. He brings great ideas to the table and asks smart, thoughtful questions. He’s read every cat behavior book he could find—including the same textbooks I studied while earning my certification—and he’s a big fan of My Cat From Hell and Kitten Lady on YouTube.
I’m thrilled to support him as he learns the ropes. My hope is that by the time he heads off to college, he’ll be fully equipped to help cats and kittens wherever life takes him.
